Need some assets stylized for a gameboy game with a unique look? This pack includes tiles all stylized in a unique purple-ish orange pastel palette, and spritework to complement a contemporary setting.

This pack includes:

  • Character sprites for a boy and girl player character (including a sprite for both riding a moped)
  • Overworld tileset for interiors and exteriors that covers most bases in terms of necessary map graphics
  • Four different NPC sprites
  • Menu graphics for text boxes and different menu boxes
  • Options menu with a little Gameboy for assigning controls :)
  • Battle graphics for a Pokemon-style battle system with assets for health and EXP bars, but no battle animations
  • Animated water tiles
  • Different bags sprites for separated pockets
  • ... and a bit more!

If you would like any assets in this same style, or need help with anything, feel free to either leave me a comment or shoot me an email, I'm open to requests :D

Thanks!

do you have any plans to make a bundle of your gameboy packs?

Hey, for now not quite yet considering I only have the two. I'll probably make a bundle if I end up doing any more though!

Hello, I love your work! I'm trying to import the tileset into RPG Maker MV, but I'm not sure how to crop it effectively. Is there a foolproof method to do so?

Foolproof I'm not so sure, but the easiest way that I know of is to just copy-paste the tiles into one of the existing premade tilesets in whatever image editing software you use. RPG Maker is mainly looking for a certain sized grid of tiles, so you'll need to make sure it fits with whatever that is. I haven't used that engine in a while though, so your mileage may vary!

Thanks for responding!

Hi! Thanks for noticing my humble shop :) I create custom characters, but the price starts from 80$ for a set, if you're interested, please contact me via mageoduty@yandex.ru. I'm planning to add different characters here as well, currently creating more, so stay tuned )
